Born July 12, 1940, in Stoystown, son of Dalton Suder and Helen Pearl (Shaffer) Walker. Preceded in death by parents, infant sister Sally Ann, and brother Carl Lynn, who was killed in action in Vietnam. Survived by his wife the former A. Elaine Miller; children, Cindy, married to David Lee Watkins, Boswell; Brad, married to the former Tammy Pugh, Friedens; Brian, married to Brooke Wilt, Stoystown; and Becky, married to Shawn Kaufman, Davidsville; and grandchildren, Brooke, Christie, Jill, Carlee, Kylee, Jonathan, Brandon, Bradley Jo, Lauren, Brady, Gabriel and Carson. Brother of Guy and wife, Ruth; Ruth, married to Lester Miller; and Dean and wife, Sally, all of Friedens; Glenn and wife, Shirley, Mechanicsburg; Lois Neff, and Linda Walker, both of Shanksville; Luella, married to Terry Berkebile; and Nancy, married to Warren Cox, both of Stoystown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Started working on his father's dairy farm when he was very young and worked the farm for more than 25 years before starting Walker Truck Sales in 1986 and continuing until the present. He enjoyed hunting, collecting John Deere items, and attending tractor shows. Former member of Pa. Farmers Association. Proud member of the NRA, and member of NADA. He also enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and watching them. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Jerry Miller officiating.
