Walker, 83, of Berlin RD 3, died Dec. 12, 1982, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Oct. 16, 1899, in Brothersvalley Township, a son of Charles E. and Rosa (Walker) Walker. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Louise B. Hoyle; a brother, C. Jay; and sisters: Mrs. Victoria Casebeer and Mrs. Mae Barron and an infant sister, Irene. Survived by his wife, the former Mary Jane (Bowman) Bolden; daughters: Mrs. James (Velma) Appleyard, Berlin; and Mrs. Thomas F. (Dorothy) Reiley, Bedford; and stepson, Richard E. Bolden, Frostburg, Md.; 10 grandchildren and l1 greatgrandchildren. Also a brother, Lester, of Winter Haven, Fla. He was a retired contractor and lumber dealer. He was a Jehovah Witness for 27 years and a member of Kingdom Hall Congregation, Somerset. Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m. Monday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, with Mr. Jack Lebo officiating. Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F.
