Walker, 85, Somerset RD 6, died April 21, 1985, at the residence of his son and daughter-in-law, Ross and Winifred Walker, Somerset RD 2. Born Feb. 7, 1900, in Jefferson Township, son of the late H. Edward and Emma (Shaulis) Walker. Preceded in death by his first wife, the former Missouri Miller, in 1950; his second wife, Mary (Barron) Lambert Walker; brothers: Clark, Willard, Earl and Frank. Survived by two sons: Ross E., married to the former Winifred Queer, Somerset RD 2; Reid O., married to the former Jean Shockey, Somerset; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and the following stepchildren: Mrs. Jackie Kimmel, Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Edwinna Urban, Joann Menser and Fred Lambert, all of California. Brother of: Mrs. Mary Fleegle, Youngstown, Pa.; Mrs. Garfield (Marion) Miller, Sipesville; Grace Enos, and Pearl Ream, both of Somerset RD 6; Clyde, and John Walker, both of Somerset. Retired mechanic, he was employed by the H.W. Walker Co., Somerset; the Hackett Engineering Co., Pittsburgh; and Perenni Construction Co., where he worked on the St. Lawrence Seaway and the Niagra Power Plant. Member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Roger Forty officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
