  WALKER
  
  Ruth A. Walker, 93, of Meadowview Nursing Center, Berlin, formerly of
  Shanksville, died Jan. 13, 2001 at Somerset Hospital.  Born Jan. 7,
  1908 in Johnstown, daughter of Foster Francis and Gladys (Smith)
  Zeigler.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Clarence "Dutch," son
  Larry Dean, brother Fred Zeigler Sr., and nephew Fred Zeigler Jr. 
  Survived by niece, Jean married to Robert Hockensmith of Hagerstown,
  Md., and nephew, Donald "Goose" Zeigler, married to the former Marian
  Good of Berlin.  She was a former employee of Snyder of Berlin and a
  member of Shanksville United Methodist Church.  Family will receive
  friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin,
  where service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday.  The Rev. Ron Emery
  officiating.  Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to Shanksville U.M. Church, PO Box 129,
  Shanksville, Pa. 15560.
