Walker, 55, of 200 Armstrong Avenue, Frostburg, Md., died May 20 at her residence. A native of Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Fay L. Miller and Ethel (Stanton) Miller. Mrs. Walker was a former employe of the Grantsville Post Office and the Amcelle Plant of Celanese Fibers Company. She was also a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Woodmen of the World, Auxiliary 41 and Farraday Post 24, American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Albert E. Walker; a brother, Fay L. Miller, Jr., Frederick, Md.; two nieces and a nephew. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home where services were held at the Funeral Home Monday by the Rev. Larry Miller. Interment was in the Grantsville Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Carl Ruffo, Ray Connors, Don Eagan, Jack Starkey, Paul Morgan and James Garden. The Republic, June 2, 1977 [W0320]
