  William E. Walker Sr., 47, Boswell RD 1, died Nov. 21, 1983, at Lee
  Hospital.  Born Jan. 8, 1936, in Jerome, son of William and Lillian
  (Swope) Walker.  Preceded in death by father, died 1963; daughter,
  Veronica, died 1962.  Survived by mother, Jerome; widow, former
  Veronica Lesneski; these children: Charmaine, wife of Randy
  Friedline, Somerset RD 2; PFC Michael, U.S. Marine Corps, Panama;
  Martin, Cathy, and William Jr., all at home; also granddaughter,
  Randi Jean Friedline.  Brother of Nell wife of Carl Shield, and Cora,
  wife of Walter Levadnuk, both of Jerome; Alfred, married to former
  Marie Shaw, Friedens RD 2; Ross, married to Pat, Columbus, Ohio. 
  Member of Jenner Local 1742 UMWA.  Employed by G.M.W. Coal Co. 
  Celebrated 26th wedding anniversary Feb. 23, 1983.  Friends received
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and until time of service at 2
  p.m. Wednesday, at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, the
  Rev. Lovell Stallard.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
