Wallace, 92, a former resident of Huntingdon and a native of Somerset County, died Sunday, July 6, 1975, in Jackson County Medical Care Facility, Jackson, Mich. A daughter of the late Henry J. and Charlotte (Wagner) Christner, she was born March 10, 1883, in Somerset County. She was twice married. Her first husband, Franklin G. Argenbright, preceded her in death. She later married Harry A. Wallace, May 6, 1934, in Huntingdon. He passed away July 7, 1951. Surviving are the following children: Flo C. Carpenter of Ventura, Calif.; Mary G. Kennedy, of York; Annabelle Coulter, Huntingdon; Esther M. Christner, Jackson, Mich.; Joe F. Argenbright, Johnstown; and Richard M. Wallace, Beaver Falls. Mrs. Wallace had 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Harry B. and Hubert E. Christner, are deceased. Mrs. Wallace was a member of Stone Church of the Brethren, Huntingdon. She was a Gold Star Mother and was president of the New Brighton organization. While living in Huntingdon, she made her home with a son-in-law and daughter, Raymond and Annabelle Coulter. Funeral service was held July 8 in the chapel at Sylvania Hills Cemetery, New Brighton.
