Wallace of Berlin, Pa., died at 4:45 Monday, Dec. 14, at her home, after a lingering illness covering the past three and one-half years. Mrs. Wallace was Sadie Allen, daughter of the late Lewis and Mary Jane Allen of Laughlinstown and was born March 27, 1873. In 1911 she was married to G. C. Wallace of Rector, at which place they resided for several years before they moved to their present home near Berlin. Beside her husband Mrs. Wallace is survived by two daughters, Ruth Wallace of West View and Mae Wallace at home and the following brothers and sisters: Harry and David Allen of Laughlinstown; Daniel of Lincoln, Nebraska; Mrs. Violet Obyrne of West View, Pa.; Mrs. Jean Boehm of Fairhope, Pa.; and Mrs. Rose Foor of Berlin, Pa. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon by Rev. James Moses, United Brethren minister of Rockwood, who was her former pastor at Rector. Meyersdale Republican, December 17, 1942
