Walling, 67, Johnstown went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 9, 1938, in Johnstown son of the late Gus and Dorothy (Reese) Walling . Also preceded in death by brother Charles. Survived by loving wife of 32 years Teresa "Terry" Gallagher, step-daughter the former Gloria (Gleissner), wife of Perry Mock, Windber, and daughter Deborah Walling, Davidsville. Also step grand-children Sherry, wife of Jim Dayton, and Brian Mock, both of Windber, and step-great-grandchildren Joshua and Andrew Mock, and Laikyn Dayton. John was a 40-year employee of Memorial Medical Center where he worked as a painter. Prior to his illness he was a member of St. Clement's Catholic Church. He was a family man who loved and cherished his family and dog Sugar. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at SS. Cyril & Methodius' Catholic Church, Windber. The Rev. Father Matthew Misurda, pastor. Committal Grandview Cemetery.
