  WALSH
  
  James R. Walsh, 83, of Somerset died Oct. 15 in the Veterans
  Hospital, Aspinwall.  He was born June 4, 1888 in Oakland, Md., to
  the late John Edward and Theresa Fink Walsh.  He is survived by his
  wife Gertrude Miller Walsh; 2 sisters, Mrs. Rose Fairall of Grafton,
  W.Va.; and Mrs. Gertrude Thayer of Mt. Lake Park, Md.  He was a
  veteran of World War I, serving with the U.S. Army.  Friends will be
  received from 2-4 p.m. Sunday in the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home.
  Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday in the Husband
  Cemetery by the Rev. Carl R. Hull.  Friends are asked to omit flowers.
