Sr. "Jack" John F. "Jack" Walsh Sr., 78, Lambertsville, died Oct. 11, 2007, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born Feb. 24, 1929, in Trenton, N.J., son of Thomas J. and Alice (Carr) Walsh. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Alice Schlottenmier and Virginia Vogelsong. Survived by wife of 51 years, the former Geraldine Berkebile; children, John F. Jr. and wife, Debra, Virginia; Daniel P. and wife, Jody, Lambertsville; Cheryl Sheil, New York; Maureen Gustin and husband, Michael, Halifax; Tracy Walsh and fiancee Camil Nadeau, Somerset; Patricia Walsh and fiancee Dave Mishler Sr., Meyersdale; and Colleen Harmon, Somerset; grandchildren, Dennis, twins, Candace and Dallas and Will, James, Angela, Michael, Matthew, Melinda, Joseph, Amanda, William, Kathryn, David and Rachel, Melissa, Amanda, Roger Jr., Jeremiah, Daniel Jr., Elizabeth and Nicklos. Brother of Thomas Jr. and wife, Ann, Winter Haven, Fla.; Harry and wife, Ann, Fairfax, Va.; David and wife, Pricella, Trenton, N.J. Also survived by brothers- in-law, Tom Schlottenmier and Ed Vogelsong; and special aunt and uncle, Dorothy and James Buchanan, Bristol. Graduate of Trenton High School and attended Georgia Tech. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired from the New Jersey State Department of Transportation and was a maintenance mechanic at Snyder of Berlin. He enjoyed electronics, aviation and deep-sea fishing. He was a faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville, and member of the Air Force Association and VFW Post 15040. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville. The Rev.
