CHARLES H. WALTER

  Charles H. Walter, 71, retired Baltimore & Ohio train dispatcher, died at his 
home at 158 West Patriot St., Somerset last Sunday, at 4:30 o'clock.
  He was born in Meyersdale on Dec. 9, 1874, a son of Cyrus and Clara (Boger) 
Walter.  Surviving is his wife, Minnie (Griffith) Walter.  He was preceded in 
death by one brother and one sister.  He was a member of the Somerset Masonic 
Lodge and of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church.
  Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the 
Hoffman Funeral Home by Rev. John S. Milholland, pastor of St. Paul's 
Presbyterian Church.  Burial took place in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
