  EDWARD F. WALTER 
  
    Edward F. "Peanuts" Walter, 68, of Blairsville, Ga., died Tuesday,
  January 15, in Blairsville.
    Formerly of Garrett, he was the son of Wilson and Theresa Walter. 
  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Merle, of
  Koppel.
    He is survived by his wife, Myrtice, of Blairsville, Ga., and two
  sons, Larry, of Thompson, Ohio; and Clark, of Pittsburgh; a former
  wife, Elsie, of Erie; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    Funeral arrangements were held in Georgia.  The family requests
  that cards or donations would be sent to the Union County Nursing
  Home in Blairsville, Ga., 30512.
