  WALTER
  
  The Rev. Fred W. Walter, 73, of Listie died June 12, 1977, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born June 8, 1903 in
  Philadelphia, son of William and Cassie Walter.  He is survived by
  his widow, the former Lydia Carter.  He was preceded in death by one
  brother and two sisters.  He was pastor of the Listie Brethren
  Church.  He graduated from the Philadelphia Bible School and
  Seminary.  Friends will be received after 7 a. m. Tuesday at the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Services will be conducted at 11 a.
  m. Thursday in the Listie Brethren Church, the Rev. Larry R. Weigle,
  officiating.  Interment, Listie Cemetery.  Body will lie in state at
  the church from 10 a. m. Thursday until service time.
