  Mrs. Glada J. Walter, 49, Somerset RD 5, died June 29, 1980, at Lee
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Jan. 9, 1931, Somerset County, daughter of
  Donald Edmonson of Friedens RD 2 and the late Ada May (O'Baker)
  Edmonson.  Also preceded in death by brother, David.  Survived by
  husband, Terrance (Terry), whom she married July 13, 1948; and these
  children: Mrs. Barry (Shirley) Esherick, Stoystown RD 3; Terry, of
  Somerset; Ronald, U.S. Navy, San Diego; Lettie, at home; four
  grandchildren: Steve and Karl Esherick, Howard and Mandy Walter.  She
  was a sister of: Mrs. Ernest (Shirley) Thompson, Mrs. Samuel (Mary
  Lou) Rosey, Ronald, Donald, and William, all of Lorain, Ohio; Thomas,
  Boswell RD 2.  Formerly employed by J. J. Newberry Co. of Somerset,
  she was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset.  Family
  will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
  Wednesday, the Rev. James Meyers.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
