  GRIFFITH W. WALTER
  
    Griffith W. "Dit" Walter, 92, formerly of Boswell RD 2, died Feb.
  14, 1980, at the Church of the Brethren Home, Windber.
    He was born Nov. 18, 1887 in Jenner Township, and was a son of
  Gillian and Sarah (Griffith) Walter.
    He was preceded in death by parents, he was the brother of Maude,
  wife of J. O. Hay, Wilmington, Del., Mabel, Berlin; and Charles E.,
  Jennerstown.
    He was a member of Hopewell Methodist Church, Jenner Township.  He
  was a retired Jenner Township farmer and self-employed trucker.
    Friends were received at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St.,
  Boswell, the Rev. Walter M. Willey officiating.  Interment, Jenner
  Township Baptist Cemetery.
