  WALTER
  
  Mrs. Velma Grace Walter, 94, of Siemon Lakeview Manor Estates, died
  April 7, 1984, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estates.  Born Aug. 3, 1889,
  in Garrett, daughter of George W. and Emma (Rector) Christner. 
  Preceded in death by husband, Frank A., also two sisters and five
  brothers.  Survived by these children: Blaine F., Somerset; John R.,
  Pittsburgh; Mrs. Joseph (Jane) Wagner, Austin, Texas; five
  grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Sister of Donald,
  California; and Sara Magdalene Crimmins, Erie.  Member of the Trinity
  Lutheran Church, and the Trinity Chapter of O.E.S.  Friends received
  from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home,
  where service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. H.
  James Meyers officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
