  Austin Henry Walters, 81, of Johnstown, formerly of Somerset, died
  Jan. 25, 2001 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born
  May 6, 1919 in Meyersdale.  Son of James Elmer and Florence Melinda
  (Miller) Walters.  Preceded in death by parents, brother Leroy
  Walters and sister Carrie Weyant.  Survived by wife Betty Catherine
  Bellman Jarvis to whom he was married 61 years and these children:
  James A., Walters married to the former Emma Thompson, Somerset; Gene
  Walters married to former Sharon Swan, Carlisle; Mrs. Richard
  (Shirley) Airesman, Johnstown; Mrs. James M. (Betty) Yon, Johnstown;
  Mrs. Dale A. (Sandie) Johanson, Chambersburg; Mrs. Paul (Arlene)
  Williams, Deltona. Fla.; Austin Walters Jr., Somerset; Ronald P.
  Walters, Somerset; Mrs. Gary E. (Nancy) Bittner, Somerset; Rick
  Walters, Somerset; Wade S. "Steve" Walters, married to the former
  Karen Drummond, Somerset, and Troy Walters married to the former
  Tammy Stutzman, Rockwood.  Also 20 grandchildren and 12
  great-grandchildren.  Attended Faith Lutheran Church, Wills.  World
  War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.  Retired in 1976 as a mechanic for
  Saylor Motor Co.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday
  at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset.  Viewing also from 10 to 11
  a.m. the time of service Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, Wills, Rev.
  Kenneth M. Diable officiating.  Interment, Wills Cemetery.
