Walters, 70, of 313 Diamond St., Berlin, died Oct. 1, 1980 in Berlin. She was born March 10, 1910 in Garrett, a daughter of Richard and Dillie (Brant) Christner. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; sister, Vila Mason; and a brother, Theal Christner. She is survived by a son, Eugene A. of Somerset; granddaughter, Mrs. David (Denise) Lhota, and a great-granddaughter, Cassandra Lhota, both of Indian Lake. She was a sister of Mrs. John (Florence) Robertson, Pennsauken, N.J.; and Mrs. Mabel Rittenour, Cairo, Ohio. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Berlin Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Berlin American Legion Auxiliary Unit 445. Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services were held with the Rev. Charles W. Sigler officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
