  WALTERS
  
  Charles H. "Chink" Walters, 62, Thomas Street, Hollsopple, died July
  10, 1997 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Oct. 4, 1934,
  in Ralphton.  Son of Stewart C. and Nancy (Bittner) Walters. 
  Preceded in death by parents; several infant brothers and sisters;
  sister, Susan Lyons.  Survived by wife, the former Maxine Wolford;
  sons, Earl C. married to Kelly (Kent) Burlington, Vt.; Robert W.
  married to Gail (Haddix), Jenners; and Charles E., Carlisle.  Also
  survived by 7 grandchildren and brother George of Windber.  Observed
  37th wedding anniversary on June 14, 1997.  Had been employed by the
  former Samone Vault Company, Hollsopple for several years.  Friends
  will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home,
  Allegheny Street, Boswell where services will be held at 12:30 p.m.
  Sunday, the Rev. Richard H. Cornwell officiating.  Interment Custer
  Cemetery Hollsopple.
