  ELIZABETH WALTERS
  
    Elizabeth Lillian Walters, 81, of Piney Mountain Road, Eckhart,
  Md., died Wednesday, June 28, 1989, at the Avalon Nursing Home,
  Hagerstown, Md.
    Born Oct. 1, 1907, in Eckhart, Md., she was the daughter of the
  late Stephen and Anne (Uber) Briner.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, George Walters.
    She was a member of St. Michael's Sodality, the Clarysville Fire
  Auxiliary and the Eckhart Square Circle Ladies Auxiliary.
    Surviving are one daughter, Mary Madeline Bender, Hagerstown, Md.;
  two sisters, Geneive Holsinger, Goodwill Nursing Home, Grantsville,
  Md.; and Margaret Tichy, Clearsville, Md.; five grandchildren; and
  five great-grandchildren.
    Mass of the Christian burial was celebrated at St. Michael's Church
  Friday at 11 a.m. by Monsignor John L. Reinsfelder.  Interment, St.
  Michael's Cemetery, Frostburg, Md.
   The Sewers Funeral Home, Frostburg, Md., was in charge of the
  arrangements.
