Born Sept. 27, 1916, in Stoystown. Daughter of the late Harry Lincoln and Martha (Gilmour) Martin. Also preceded in death by husband, Blaine Foster "Bud" Walters, who died on July 28, 1990, and brother Jack Lowell Martin. Survived by these children: Mrs. Charles T. (Carol) Whitfield, Schellsburg RD 2, and James M. Walters, married to the former Beth Morris, Indian Lake; grandchildren Douglas Alan, Nanette Cheryl and Michael James Whitfield. Also survived by special cousin Jolene Martin, Langhorne, Pa. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset. Member and past president of the Somerset Hospital Auxiliary and the Somerset Welfare League. Member of Trinity Chapter 138 OES. She was co-founder with her husband of Walters' Tire Service of Somerset and Mountain Meadow Farms of Schellsburg. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will he conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating.
