  WALTERS
  
  James E. Walters, 88, of Bedford RD 3, formerly of Somerset, died
  Sept. 24, 1976, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 29, 1887,
  in Garrett, a son of the late Joseph and Carrie (Nicklow) Walters. 
  Also preceded in death by his wife, the former Florence Melinda
  Miller, and three brothers and two sisters.  Survived by these
  children: Austin, Somerset RD 5; Leroy Glenville, W. Va.; Mrs. Harold
  (Carrie) Weyand, Bedford RD 3; 15 grandchildren; 17
  great-grandchildren.  Member of the Church of Nazarene, Bedford, and
  the U.M.W. of A.  Friends received after 7 p.m. today, Saturday, in
  the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted
  at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Warren MacEachern officiating. 
  Interment, Weller Cemetery.
