Walters, 50, of 56 Indian Mound Drive, Whitesboro, N.Y., died May 2, 1979, in St Luke's Hospital. He was born in Somerset, son of George and Helen (Ringer) Walters. He was educated in Somerset Area Schools and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. In 1954, in Oklahoma, he married Olga Altans. The couple resided in Utica, N.Y., and Whitesboro, N.Y. For the past 20 years, he had been employed as an electrical engineer with General Electric Co. He is survived by his wife; one son, Andre Altans, of Bozeman, Mont.; one sister, Mrs. B.J. Smith, Denver, Colo.; and numerous relatives in Somerset, Pa. Daily American, May 26, 1979 [W0403]
