  WALTERS
  
  John C. Walters, 57, Somerset RD 4, died April 17, 1978, in Windber
  Hospital.  Born Jan. 25, 1921, in Somerset County, he was a son of
  the late John and Annie (Walker) Walters.  He was preceded in death
  by one brother and one sister.  He is survived by his wife, Rena; and
  these children: Mrs. Anthony (Diana) Jano, Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Rita
  Pritts, Somerset RD 6; Mrs. Joseph (Donna) Lee Jano, Somerset RD 5;
  Gary, Somerset RD 8; 13 grandchildren; and these brothers and
  sisters: Mrs. Kenneth (Gazella) Garnder, Mrs. Walter (Anna) Gardner,
  Palmer Walters and Mrs. Mary Baker, all of Somerset RD 6.  He was a
  member of the Pike Run Church of the Brethren and a World War II
  veteran.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Tuesday in the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted
  Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. A. Cecil Tasker officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
