Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett. Rev. John S. Hoenstine, his pastor, officiated. Interment was made in the Highland Cemetery. Mr. Walters, son of the late Francis and Lavinna Walters, was born in Garrett 74 years ago. Most of his life was spent in Garrett. Some time ago he was made section foreman of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad at Somerset, and moved to Somerset. In November, 52 years ago he was married to Alice Norris, who with the following children survives: Joseph, living at home and Lula Walters Hughes, living in LaVale, Maryland; also nine grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Luther, Curtisville, Pa.; Wilson, Garrett; Carrie Walters Haines, Los Angeles, Cal., and Harriet Walters Weaver of Garrett.
