B. Weekley, Parkersburg, W.Va., while W. F. Walters, son of the deceased, and family of this place, were visiting the aged invalid. Josiah Walters was born July 1, 1848, at Conemaugh, Pa. He was a son of the late Benjamin and Sally (Mosholder) Walters. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Caroline (Yutzy) Walters, and three sons, William F. and Austin I. Walters, Ursina, and James E. Walters, Ralphton, and two daughters, Susan, wife of John B. Walters, Amsterdam, Ohio, and Margaret, wife of Elmer Lightner, Pittsburgh. Another son, Charles M. Walters, died 14 years ago. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and one brother, James Walters, of Garrett. His body was brought to the home of his son, W. F. Walters at Ursina, where he had made his home for a number of years. The funeral took place there at one o'clock on Wednesday, February 5, Rev. Geo. O. Ritter, pastor of the Ursina Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment in the Ursina cemetery. Among the relatives attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. John B. Walters and son, Carl, and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Lucas and two daughters, of Amsterdam, Ohio; Mrs. Ernest I. Crawford, Cumberland, Md., and James Walters and Miss Alice Walters, Garrett.
