WALTERS, Lenora L.

Lenora L. Walters, 68, Indian Lake, formerly of Plum Borough, died  Sept. 26, 
2008. Born Dec. 18, 1939, in Wilkensburg. Daughter of the late James L. and Ella 
Marie (Strawser) Greene. Preceded in death by husband of 49 years, John E. 
Walters, who recently passed away. Survived by sons, Donald T., married to 
Cathy, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Timothy E. and Thomas B., both of Indian Lake; and Troy 
D., married to Judith, Catskill, N.Y.; sister, Barbara A. Madine, Plum; 
brothers, William Greene, Plum; and Donald Greene, Upper Burrell. Also 10 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Lenora was an avid painter, artist 
and quilter. Friends received from 2:30 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. 
Sunday at Indian Lake Lodge and Resort. The Rev. Betsy Statler officiating. In 
lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. 
Arrangements by Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, 
Johnstown.
