Walters, 82, of 127 South 29th St., Harrisburg, died June 30, 1996, at Harrisburg Hospital. Born April 10, 1914, in Hooversville. Retired operating engineer at Three Mile Island. Army Veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Member of Berlin American Legion Post 0445 and Steelton VFW Post 710. Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Tooley; two daughters, Jean Walters of Berlin and Lois Pollard of Taylor Mill, Ky., two brothers, Lennie Overton of Seattle, Wash., and Jack Overton of Windber; one sister, Evelyn Wilson of Boswell; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hetriek Funeral Home, 3125 Walnut St., Harrisburg. Burial, Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
