ZACHARIAH WALTERS

  Zachariah Walters, 66, a retired miner, Garrett, died Friday evening at the 
home of Mrs. Elizabeth Patterson, where he had resided.  A son of Francis and 
Lavina (Judy) Walters, he was born on March 23, 1878.  His wife, the former 
Jennie Blair, is dead.  Surviving are these brothers and sisters: John, 
Somerset; Wilson and Mrs. Hattie Weaver, both of Garrett; Luther, Curtisville, 
Pa., and Mrs. William Haynes, Garden Grove, Cal.; also a half-brother, Austin 
Yutzy, Rockwood.  He was a member of the Garrett Lutheran Church, where funeral 
services were conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon by Rev. Ellwood Stahl.  
Interment in the Garrett Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Son, Berlin 
Morticians.
