Wampler, 70, of Oldtown RD 1, Md., died Saturday, May 4, 1985, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born in Witmer, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Salem Elza and Maxie (Jordan) Elza. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Noah Teats and George O. Wahl Sr. She was a member of the Glendale Church of the Brethren, Flintstone, Md. Surviving are her husband, Edward L. Wampler; a son, Lonnie R. Teats, Baltimore, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Reda Frazee, Baltimore, and Miss Betty Teats, Houston, Tex.; two stepsons, Edwin Wampler, Arizona, and William Wampler, Hagerstown, Md.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Marcella Greer, Grantsville, Md.; and Mrs. Rosa McKenzie, Baltimore; nine grandchildren and a greatgranddaughter. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where services were conducted by the Rev. Earl Harper. Interment, Steele Cemetery, Friendsville. The Republic, May 9, 1985 [W0427]
