  Thomas Wanko Jr., 72, of Jerome, died July 14, 1989 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 22, 1916 in Hartshorne, Okla., son of Thomas and
  Ann (Wansick) Wanko Sr.  Preceded in death by parents, wife, the
  former Helen Kisula, and four brothers.  Survived by son, Thomas M.
  of Jerome.  Brother of Ann, wife of Sam Lasevich, Baltimore, Md.;
  Mary Stander, of Hartshorne, Okla.; Helen, wife of Clifford James,
  and Sue, wife of William Hamilton, both of Jerome; Andrew, of
  Petaluma, Calif.; Julia, wife of John Wojtisek of Hagerstown; Nancy,
  wife of Mickey D'Arrigo, Somerset; Eva, wife of Ernie Durb,
  Wilmington, Mass.; Leon, of Baltimore, Md.; and Frank of Wadesboro,
  N.C.; also survived by sister-in-law Mary Toth, widow of John,
  Jerome.  Member of Sts. Peter and Paul's Russian Orthodox Church,
  Boswell.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where
  Parastas will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.  Funeral service will be at
  10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, the Very Rev. Father John W.
  Govrusik.  Interment, church cemetery.
