  WARD
  
  Mary E. Ward, 87, of Confluence, died Nov. 30, 2001 at Somerset
  Hospital.  She was born June 30, 1914 in Listonburg.  A daughter of
  the late Robert and Lula (Faucett) Havener.  In addition to her
  parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William and a
  sister Helen Lytle.  She is survived by a daughter Colleen Whaley and
  her husband Delmer; and a grandson Rodney Whaley and his wife Vickie,
  all of Confluence; and a sister Pauline Harman, of Accident, Md.  She
  worked for many years as a nurse's aide at Hopemont T.B. Sanitarium
  and Spear Nursing Home in Markleysburg.  She was currently employed
  as a Headstart kitchen aide in Confluence.  Friends will be received
  from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence
  where service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Ronald
  Schaeffer officiating.  Interment Kingwood I.O.O.F. cemetery.
