Born Dec. 29, 1912, in Allegheny Township, son of James and Cora (Sarver) Ware. Preceded in death by parents, sisters: Irene Berkebile, Effie Krause, Myrtle Baird, Anna Menser and Dorothy Good, and brother Donald. Survived by his wife of 58 years, the former Margaret Elizabeth Glessner; these children: Judith, married to Gilbert Bryan, Morgantown, W.Va.; Randall, married to the former Sally Urban, Friedens; and Todd, married to the former Elizabeth Burdette, McMurray; grandchildren: Patrick Bryan, Morgantown, W.Va.; Scott Ware, married to the former Michele Spangenthal, Roy, Utah; Tammy and Susan Ware, Friedens; Matthew, Benjamin and Kerry Ware, McMurray. Brother of Edison and wife Mae, East Berlin; Nellie Klotz, Somerset; Marian Zimmerman, Friedens; and Clyde, H. and wife Hazel, Stoystown. Brother-in-law of: Jane Ware, York; John Menser, and Paul Good and wife Ellen, all of Friedens; and Ilga and Kenneth Patterson, Hagerstown, Md. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A 1932 graduate of Somerset Township High School. Retired from Island Creek Coal Company in 1976. Member of UMWA, local #998, Mountain Field and Stream Club, Roxbury, and Friedens Lutheran Church and Rebekah Bible Sunday School Class. Family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Monday (today) at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Friedens Lutheran Church. No viewing at the church. Rev.
