Born March 15, 1885, in Garrett County Maryland, she had lived in the Akron, Ohio area for 78 years and was a member of Tallmadge Alliance Church. She was the daughter of the late Henry Clay Butler and Mary Anne (Mort) Butler, who resided in Grantsville, Md. Mrs. Warnick was the last member of her immediate family. Mrs. Warnick was the wife of James G. Warnick, from the Elbow area of Garrett County who died in 1953. They were the parents of five children: Dorothy Gillis, Kent, Ohio; Raymond, Akron, Ohio; Earle "Butch", of Akron who died in 1983; Carl, who was killed in WWII, 1945; and Jean Miller, of Sharpsburg, Md. There were seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 19, 1989, at Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home, Akron, with the Rev. Santi E. Basiletti officiating. Interment in Restland Cemetery at Brimfield, Ohio.
