Noah C. Warnick was the son of the late Charles and Catharine Warnick, pioneer residents of Garrett County, and was born at Manadier Ridge, Sept. 13, 1866. He was past 66 years of age. He was afflicted the last few years with heart trouble and other ailments and was confined to his bed the last three weeks, gradually growing weaker until the end came. Mr. Warnick was married to Miss Anna J. Gnagey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Gnagey, June 21, 1888, and is survived by her and the following children: Mrs. H. O. Miller, Grantsville; Mrs. W. H. Dill, Jerome, Pa.; Harry and Dalton Warnick, Cleveland, O.; Cecil Warnick, Los Angeles, Cal., and nine grandchildren; also by the following sisters: Mrs. William Miller, Mrs. W. T. Zeigler, Mrs. James Martin and Miss Lucretia Warnick, and brother, Clarence L. Warnick, all of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. James Muir, Catonsville, Md., and Mrs. Wheeler Kight, Los Angeles, Cal. Mr. Warnick was a prosperous farmer and a generous kind-hearted man; he was a faithful member of the Reformed Church, having united with the church at New Germany when a young man. He later transferred his membership to the Grantsville church where he was a deacon for several years, and a regular attendant at church and Sunday school till his health failed. The funeral services will be held in the Grantsville Reformed Church on Friday afternoon, Nov. 13, at 2 o'clock, with a short service at the home at 1 o'clock. Rev. M. A. Keiffer, the pastor, will officiate. The pallbearers will be members of the church consistry - W. E. Stanton, J. A. Beachy, J. H. Folk, C. O. Bender, J. U. Stanton and N. U. Broadwater.
