Born March 29, 1931, in Jenner Township, Somerset County, son of the late Ralph Sherman and Maude Virginia (Mason) Warnick. Preceded in death by a daughter, Heidi Ann Warnick, Sept. 17, 1987; and by a brother, Donald Warnick. Survived by wife of 42 years, the former Thelma I. Crissey, whom he married April 28, 1951; and these children: Mrs. Raymond (Janalee) Schilling of Ebensburg RD 2, Wayne W. Warnick Sr. of Central City RD 1, and Mrs. Mark (Darla) Hampton of Breezewood RD 1. Also two grandsons: Bradley Schilling and Wayne W. Warnick Jr. He was the brother of Melvin R. Warnick of Somerset. Retired dairy farmer. School bus contractor for Shade-Central City School District. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. John W. Hinton officiating.
