Born Oct 13, 1904, at Barton, Md., she was a daughter of the late David and Dorcas Ellen (Fazenbaker) Warnick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie B. Warnick on April 18, 1984, and a son, Robert D. Warnick, on Sept. 2, 1982. She is survived by five sons: Mahlon, Edwin Bright and Larry Warnick, all of Grantsville; Arch Warnick, Lanham, Md.; and Jack Warnick, Frostburg; four daughters: Darlene Harris, LaVale, Md.; Doris Hartman, Cumberland, Md.; Wilda Englehurst, Doylestown, Pa.; and Sheila McKenzie, Frostburg; a brother, Gay Warnick, Detroit, Mich.; a sister, Beulah Weimer, Mogodore, Ohio; 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Warnick was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, the Women's Guild of the church, a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Garrett County Farm Bureau, the Garrett County Fair Board and the New Germany Homemakers Club. She was known for her cooking skills. Services were conducted at the Trinity United Church of Christ on Nov. 21 with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating. Interment, church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. Pallbearers were Rodney Warnick, Jared Warnick, Britt McKenzie, Scott Warnick, Bradley Harris and Charles Tetzlaff.
