NANCY GERTRUDE WASMUTH

  Mrs. Nancy Gertrude Wasmuth, wife of William J. Wasmuth, 301 Salisbury St., 
Meyersdale, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John W. Young, Loraine 
Borough, Johnstown, on Sunday, Jan. 18, following a lingering illness.
  She was born in Greenville Township, March 23, 1887, a daughter of Israel and 
Sarah (Shultz) Shockey, and was aged 60 years, nine months and 25 days at the 
time of her death.
  In addition to her husband and daughter, mentioned above, she is survived by a 
brother, Irvin Shockey, and a sister, Mrs. P. W. White, R. D., Meyersdale.
  Funeral services were conducted at the Wasmuth home, Salisbury St., 
Meyersdale, at 2 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon, by Rev. H. K. Hilner.  
Interment was made in Union Cemetery, under the direction of W. C. Price & Son.
