  SADIE B. WASSON
  
    Sadie B. Wasson, 85, of East Broadway, Rockwood, formerly of
  Johnstown, died Jan. 31, 1983, at her residence.  She was born Nov.
  10, 1897, in Rockwood, daughter of the late Charles and Tracey
  (Walker) Koontz.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Lena; two
  brothers, Howard and Walter Perry.
    She is survived by her husband, Diemer; two brothers, Blaine W. and
  Charles E. Koontz, both of Rockwood; and a sister, Mrs. Eva Schultz of
  Berlin.  She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ,
  Johnstown; Johnstown Chapter 183, Order of Eastern Star; Order of
  Amaranth Inc., Cambria Court 27, Johnstown; and Ladies Auxiliary to
  the Oriental Commandery 61, Knights Templar, Johnstown.  Her passing
  terminates a marriage union of 62 years.
    Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where
  funeral services were conducted with the Rev. G. Marion Smith and the
  Rev. Donald Krestar officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
