  WATKINS
  
  Carl L. Watkins, 64, Avon Park, Fla., died Jan. 1, 1998.  Born July
  27, 1933, in Shanksville, son of Fred and Ruth Watkins.  Lived in
  Plantation, Fla., for 27 years.  Employed in construction field in
  Ohio, he retired from Chuck's Backhoe in Miami, Fla.  Served in Korea
  from 1953 to 1955.  Survived by wife, Norma (Wright) Watkins; four
  children: Bonny Miraball, Carl Jr. and Kenny, all of Ft. Lauderdale,
  and Holly Francione, Avon Park; 5 grandchildren; mother and brother,
  Ray, both of Geneva, Ohio; sisters, Marian Shank, North Irwin, Pa.,
  and Helen Bailey, Ft. Lauderdale.  Preceded in death by father;
  brother, Robert, and sister, Hazel Myracle.  Service was held at Fred
  Hunter's Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.  The Rev. Sam Collet of New
  Testament Baptist Church officiated.  Interment, Hollywood Memorial
  Gardens, North Hollywood, Fla.
