WATKINS, Dorothy Marie

Dorothy Marie Watkins, 68, Austintown, Ohio, passed away Feb. 24, 2006 at St. 
Elizabeth Medical Center. Born Oct. 17, 1937 in Listie, the daughter of Kenneth 
and Althea (Philippi) Pugh. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one 
sister Bernadine Junk, and two brothers Billy Bruce and Daryl Pugh. She leaves 
her husband of 50 years, Cloyd whom she married Aug. 8, 1955; three children, 
Roger Sr. (Georgetta) Watkins and Anna Beckett, both of Austintown, and Mark 
Watkins, Cincinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Roger Jr. (Erin), Tina, Joshua, 
and Nicole Watkins, all of Austintown, Gary Beckett of Uniopolis, Ohio, Daniel 
(Janet'h) Beckett of Italy, and Kenneth Beckett, Austintown; three great-
grandchildren, Makayla and Allison Beckett and Dylan Watkins as well as one 
great-grandchild expected in April. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and 
grandmother. Member of Brethren Church in Geiger, and enjoyed embroidery, 
puzzles and family genealogy. She was also an avid card player, but most of all 
she loved the time spent with her family and friends. Family and friends may 
call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, 
5797 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, Ohio, where funeral service will be 10 a.m.
