  WATKINS
  
  Elmer L. Watkins, 71, of Friedens RD 1, died Sept. 16, 1981, in
  Somerset.  He was born Dec. 19, 1909, in Ralphton, the son of the
  late Wilbur N. and Annie C. (Wechtenhiser) Watkins.  Also preceded in
  death by one sister, Laura C. Flick.  Survived by step-mother, Viola
  Watkins, Somerset RD 5; daughter, Mrs. Larry (Mary Ann) Snyder, Falls
  Church, Va.; one grandson, Lonnie Snyder.  Also a sister, Mrs. Ethel
  Landsman, Phoenix, Ariz.; step-sister, Marian Baker, Somerset RD 5;
  step-brother, Kenneth Watkins, Carson City, Nev.; half-sister, Mrs.
  Anna Flick, Somerset RD 5.  He was a veteran of World War II. 
  Friends will be received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, 7 to
  9 p.m. Friday.  Funeral services Saturday 10 a.m., the Rev. Marlin
  Miller officiating.  Interment, Walker Cemetery.
