Watkins, 58, of Zellwood, Fla., died Feb. 5, 1988, in the Apopka Memorial Hospital in Florida. He was born in Shanksville, Stonycreek Twp., April 22, 1929. He is the son of Ruth Watkins, Geneva, Ohio; and the late Fred W. Watkins, formerly of Friedens RD 2. He was in the Korean War invasion and has resided in Florida since 1957. He is survived by his wife Gladys and four children: Robin, Mickey, Robbie and Butch, Florida; sisters, Helen Bailey, Florida, Marian Shank, N. Irwin, Pa.; brothers, Carl, Florida, Ray, Geneva, Ohio. Preceded in death by sister, Hazal Myracle of New York. He was an employee of the Cape Canaveral Space Center and former construction worker. Services were held in the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home in Apopka, Fla., Wednesday, Feb. 10 by the Rev. Philip Tracey. The burial was at Astatula Cemetery in Florida.
