  Ruth G. Watkins, 89, Berlin, died Nov. 12, 1994, at Patriot Manor,
  Somerset.  Born March 12, 1905, in Clearfield County, daughter of
  John and Mary (Thomas) Golby.  Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  Thomas; two infant sons; brothers, Leonard and Thomas, and
  daughter-in-law, Dorothy Watkins.  Survived by son, John A., married
  to the former Nancy Benning, Berlin RD 4; grandson, John T., married
  to the former Vicki Whipkey, Berlin RD 4, and great-grandchildren,
  Thomas John and Hannah Elizabeth; also a sister-in-law, Olive Golby
  of Berlin.  Retired Berlin-Brothersvalley Elementary School
  teacher.  Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin.  Former
  member of Lady Berlin Rebekah Lodge 277.  Family will receive friends
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service
  will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Melvin A. Kirk.  Interment,
  Berlin IOOF Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to Holy
  Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, Pa., 15530.
