  WATSON
  
  Bessie Watson, 98, of Somerset died Jan. 27, 1996, in Meadow View
  Nursing Center, Berlin.  Born May 9, 1897, in Somerset County. 
  Daughter of the late Milton M. and Sadie (Mognet) Knepper.  Preceded
  in death by sisters, Mrs. Earl Shaffer and Mrs. Warren Spencer, and
  brother, George Knepper.  Survived by a son, Glen, Somerset; a
  sister, Mrs. Mary James, Jennerstown, and a number nieces and
  nephews.  Member of Grace United Methodist Church.  Retired from
  Somerset State Hospital.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at
  10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Charles F. Olson officiating.  Interment,
  St. John's Cemetery.
