Born June 25, 1912 in Somerset, daughter of the late Jeremiah and Dorothea (Thomas) Pyle. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Doran Watson in 1977; sisters, Anna Michaels and Emaline Maltilda Pyle. Survived by sisters, Elizabeth Baughman, Sebring, Fla., and Uleta "Lettie" Gashaw, Somerset RD 7; nephew, Jerry Michaels, Palms Coast, Fla.; nieces, Mrs. Louerre (Phyllis) Reis, Randallstown, Md.; Mrs. Dean (Dorothea) Campbell, Stahlstown; and Linda Brougher, Pittsburgh. Member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, Macdonaldton. Former employee of PennDOT-Hunken Conley Construction Co. in construction of Laurel Hill Tunnel. She later managed the former Laurel Hill Restaurant on the Turnpike. Retired professional cartographer. Taught charting to college and international students. Retired from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in 1973. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, Macdonaldton at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. James F. Bunn celebrant. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Somerset.
