She was a daughter of Robert and Barbara Ann (Brown) Halladay, and was born in England 57 years ago, and had been a resident of Berlin for 13 years. She was a frequent visitor to Meyersdale until she became ill. Her husband, John Watson, is a son of William Watson, of Meyersdale. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: William Watson, Windber; Jack Watson, Baltimore; Mrs. Cupp, Warren, Ohio; Seaman 2/c Kenneth Watson, Newport, R.I.. A son, Robert Watson, died last year. Also surviving are the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Robert Fritz, Shanksville; Mrs. Jonah Wick and Essex Halladay, London, England, and Elizabeth and Robert Halladay, New Castle, England. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Watson home, East Main Street, Berlin, with Rev. P. E. Trimpkey, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Interment in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, under the direction of Johnson & Son, Berlin morticians. Meyersdale Republican, April 5, 1945
