  Carl Edwin Waugaman, 90, Somerset, died May 6, 2005, at Somerset Hospital,
  Somerset. Born May 24, 1914, in Greensburg, a son of Homer Clarence and Johanna
  (Sachs) Waugaman. Preceded in death by parents, wife Dorothy Matilda (Wingert)
  Waugaman, who died Nov. 4, 1992; children Bonnie and Barry; brothers, Roy and
  Claire Waugaman and sister Grace Fess. Survived by children Mrs. Donald
  (Charlotte) Ross, Somerset; Mrs. John (Nancy Lee) Allison, Port Charlotte,
  Fla.; Ms. Sandra K. Hamric, Naples, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Ross,
  Somerset; Cindy Kinsella, Somerset; Jane Ross-Tompko, Pittsburgh; Donald Ross
  Jr., Somerset; Michael Ross, La Vale, Md.; Allen Allison, Schweniksville;
  Patricia Allison, Malvern; 12 great-grandchildren and one
  great-great-granddaughter. A graduate of Greensburg High School and received
  his B.S. in education at Penn State University, where he played football.
  Retired health teacher at Somerset High School and former Golden Eagles
  football and basketball coach. He started the Midget League Baseball. Member of
  the Somerset Lodge 358 F&AM Blue Lodge and Consistory. Friends received from 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where
  a service will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. William E. Osman
  officiating. Interment Hillview Cemetery, Greensburg. Contributions may be
  given to Samuel's Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 126, Rockwood, PA 15557. Masonic
  services will be held 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
