  WEAMER
  
  Mrs. Irene Weamer, 84, Stoysown RD 3, died Dec. 23, 1978 in Siemon
  Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset.  Born Aug. 8, 1898 in Johnstown, a
  daughter of Albert and Frances (Horner) Petrikin.  Preceded in death
  by parents; daughter, Mildred; sister, Edna Fritz; brothers: Bruce
  and Byron; half-sisters, Jennie Marks and Lifra Storck; and
  half-brother, James Long.  Survived by husband, Guy L. Weamer;
  daughter, Mrs. Paul (Marian) Lowry, Somerset RD 8; three
  grandchildren Judith, Marsha and Stephen; granddaughter, Shannon; and
  sister, Merna Petrikin, Johnstown.  Death ends a marriage union of 62
  years.  She was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ,
  Stoystown.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday
  in Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at
  11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Jeffrey Welsh.  Interment, Oddfellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.
